Challenge:
Microbial contamination and cross contamination can have serious consequences for life sciences. One microbe included in a batch of aseptic drugs can lead to the whole batch being quarantined or destroyed. Dycem aimed to enforce preventative methods to avoid the return of dispatches.

Solution:
Two colour installation of CleanZone was used to denote the clean/dirty side of Boehringer's changing room and effectively control contamination.

Statement:
Tests by Boehringer Ingelheim pharmaceutical plant in the UK showed a total of 67.7% reduction in cross contamination between the warehouse and entry corridor to the manufacturing process area.
