IT Cleaning

Challenge:
To reduce costs for their clients by minimising contamination in server rooms with the aim of reducing dust-related breakdowns of critical computer systems. The knock-on effects of a server malfunction could be extremely costly.

Solution:
A study by IBM showed that "Up to 70% of computer room related breakdowns are caused by dust". It was recommended that IT Cleaning use CleanZone at the entrance and exit points of the server rooms with the aim of minimising foot and wheelborne contamination, which accounts for 80% of total contamination in a computer room.

After installation IT Cleaning found that cleaning could be reduced to 3 or even 2 cleans per year directly lowering costs.
