Our Commitment to Quality
Dycem have always strived to develop its products and services in order to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved and, wherever possible, exceeded.
Our product range is being continually improved to ensure it meets the changing needs of our customers; this is matched by our excellent sales and after care service.
In order to achieve these simple goals the company operates a management system that conforms to the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2008, this system ensures a customer and quality focus exists throughout the organisation from product development, through manufacturing, to the delivery of our products, and beyond.
Our production processes are continuously monitored to make certain that our products meet document requirements and that the products delivered to our customers conform to all relevant standards of the modern market.
The company sets measurable objectives and targets at all levels within the organisation, which are regularly reviewed, to ensure its performance is in line with the top level quality policy and that customer focus remains at the top of the agenda at all times. Our systems are also evaluated by both internal audits and by periodic external audits conducted by BSI.
REACH is a European Union regulation concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation & restriction of Chemicals (Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006).
REACH aims to provide a high level of protection of human health and the environment from the use of chemicals. REACH ensures that chemical manufacturers and importers are responsible for understanding and managing the risks associated with their chemical use.
Dycem complies with all the requirements of these regulations, along with other national and international legislation, and strictly monitors its supply chain to ensure chemicals on the list of substances of very high concern are not present in its products. The company also carries out periodic independent testing of its products at independent accredited laboratories.
Occupational Health and Safety
At Dycem, health and safety is always at the top of the agenda. We consider it a core element of our business and utilise an extensive management system with regards to the safety and well-being of not only our employees but anyone affected by the company’s activities.
Many of these elements are common with those utilised in our Quality and Environmental systems, including training, awareness, competence and the drive to continuously improve.
The safety of our employees, other contractors and customer personnel are utmost when we conduct our installation services; therefore every job is planned thoroughly and performed by one of our fully trained and experienced installation team who liaise closely with local personnel to ensure any site-specific hazards and risks are identified and reduced as far as possible.
The company is a registered and accredited member of the Safecontractor® scheme, a leading health and safety assessment scheme which is dedicated to promoting higher standards of competence and compliance. This is achieved through relevant industry specific health and safety assessments (the scheme is part of Safety Schemes In Procurement (SSIP)).
The scheme assesses our systems, documentation, competencies and training annually via its assessment process which is tailored to our activities and business sector, only upon satisfactory completion of this process is a certificate issued.
